In 2012, the CPTO® software solution from planfocus® managed the cash supplies worth more than 65 billion euros for one of the largest German bank data processing centers. This included handling over 500,000 fully automatically optimized orders for cash deliveries to ATMs and branches via cash-in-transit companies and/or the German Central Bank, using CashEDI.
Tailor-made software solutions for optimizing cash logistics, which can be used to manage and monitor significant cash flows for ATMs and branches, are highly prioritized by the major financial institutions. The modular CPTO® software suite from planfocus® can be specifically adjusted to the cash supply-chain of individual financial institutions. The software provider planfocus® has a widespread customer base both in Germany and internationally and is a major international technology leader in the field. Its CPTO® solution manages significant numbers of cash orders for its customers, which are automatically generated and transmitted by the software. Special add-on components such as the integrated CPTO®/CashEDI module for ordering and delivering cash from/to the German Central Bank support process optimization, whereas others, such as the CPTO®/Transport module, significantly increase service quality.
